Los gestos pictóricos de esta obra dialogan con las imágenes y fragmentos, construyendo una atmósfera lírica y nostálgica donde el mar, el viaje y el amor aparecen como hilos temáticos.
 
En la parte central se integra la imagen de una pareja abrazada, fragmento de una pintura de Hernández Quero, junto al soneto de Mario López, poeta del Grupo Cántico.
 
Lejano puerto del amor, ganado
al Destino en batalla memorable
hoy que mi barco tuvo favorable
viento que me condujo hasta tu lado.
 
Si ha sído el navegar tan acertado
¿quién si no Dios a costa tan amable
pudo acercarme haciendo realizable
el loco sueño del enamorado?
 
Y pues que ha sido milagrosamente todo dispuesto y hecho por su mano
¿a quién si no a Él dar gracias solamente?

que a tu distante puerto y tan temprano

The painterly gestures of this work engage in a dialogue with the images and fragments, creating a lyrical and nostalgic atmosphere where the sea, the journey, and love appear as thematic threads.
 
In the central part, the image of an embracing couple is integrated—a fragment from a painting by Hernández Quero—alongside a sonnet by Mario López, a poet from the Cántico Group.
 
Distant port of love, won
from Fate in a memorable battle,
today my ship had a favorable
wind that led me to your side.
 
If navigating was so successful,
who, if not God, with such a kind cost,
could bring me closer, making it achievable
the crazy dream of the lover?
 
And since everything has been miraculously arranged and done by His hand,
who, if not Him, should I thank solely?
 
For I must confess ingenuously
that to your distant port, and so soon,
I never expected to arrive so happily.
