IMPERMANENCE
The work from the *Impermanence* series is a reflection on the fragility and transience of the material world. The artist plays with the contrasts of watercolor and acrylic in fluorescent tones, questioning the stability of what we perceive as "real." The floral prints, in their ephemeral and changing nature, function as symbols of beauty that blooms only to fade, a visual reminder that all material things are in constant transformation, in an endless cycle of birth and death.
The act of letting the paint drop introduces an element of chance and freedom into the creation, removing the artist's total control and opening space to the unpredictable, the unforeseen. This gesture highlights the notion that, although we seek stability, life unfolds as a process of continuous dissolution and recomposition, beyond any attempt to dominate it.
The work confronts us with the paradox of impermanence: beauty emerges and fades without us being able to fully capture it, yet also, in that very movement of disappearance, there is the creation of something new, something that is continuously being rebuilt. It is a reminder that, just like the painting, we too are part of a constant cycle of transformation, and that true beauty lies in our ability to accept the transient, the changing, and the unpredictable.
