La figura central, un gato antropomorfizado con chaqueta y corbata, encarna lo absurdo y lo simbólico: un observador elegante rodeado de manchas, recortes y la frase: “Para percibir el presente, deben existir el pasado y el futuro al mismo tiempo”.

The Cat in a Jacket, from the series The Intricacies of the Unconscious, encloses the present within a play of temporal and metaphorical fragments. The central figure, an anthropomorphized cat wearing a jacket and tie, embodies both the absurd and the symbolic: an elegant observer surrounded by stains, cut-outs, and the phrase: “To perceive the present, the past and the future must exist at the same time.”
