La Felicidad, 2026

En esta obra,  represento unos pies para expresar un instante de felicidad. Con un tratamiento que va desde el realismo acentuado en algunas zonas de la piel hasta otras menos definidas, la figura se funde en un fondo abstracto enriquecido por texturas, sutiles cambios tonales y pintura fluida. Esta estética mantiene la línea experimental y matérica característica de la colección La otra Dimensión.
La obra encuentra su ancla conceptual en un pequeño recorte que alude al viaje de Jasón y los argonautas de Lorenzo Costa. Este fragmento enfatiza la psicología de la pieza al simbolizar la condición humana definida por la búsqueda, la exploración y el empeño por alcanzar objetivos imposibles; reflejando así que la verdadera plenitud reside en la ilusión y el propio acto de perseguir lo inalcanzable.

In this work, I depict a pair of feet to convey a fleeting moment of happiness. Through a treatment that ranges from heightened realism in certain areas of the skin to more loosely defined passages, the figure merges into an abstract background enriched with textures, subtle tonal variations, and fluid paint. This aesthetic continues the experimental, material-based approach that characterizes The Other Dimension series.
The work finds its conceptual anchor in a small excerpt referencing Jason and the Argonauts by Lorenzo Costa. This fragment reinforces the psychological dimension of the piece by symbolizing the human condition as one defined by the pursuit of discovery, exploration, and the determination to achieve seemingly impossible goals. In doing so, it suggests that true fulfillment lies not in the destination, but in the hope and the very act of pursuing the unattainable.
