Grandes Alturas, 2025

En esta obra titulada Grandes Alturas, una figura femenina se sitúa en el centro de una escena onírica y fragmentada, en la que conviven lo simbólico y lo cotidiano. Dos avionetas idénticas —una dibujada a mano y la otra recortada de una revista antigua— sobrevuelan la composición como proyecciones de una misma idea: el deseo de alcanzar un sueño. Bajo sus pies, un rebaño de ovejas se agrupa en la parte inferior, aludiendo a lo doméstico y repetitivo. Sobre la escena, la palabra "DREAM" aparece flotando en mayúsculas, marcando un eje vertical que conecta el inconsciente con la aspiración de trascendencia.
El fondo, construido con manchas abstractas, se ve atravesado por gestos de tinta negra que introducen tensión y contraste, subrayando la dualidad entre impulso y contención, cambio y rutina.

In this work titled Great Heights, a female figure is placed at the center of a dreamlike, fragmented scene where the symbolic and the everyday coexist. Two identical airplanes—one hand-drawn and the other cut from an old magazine—hover above the composition as projections of a single idea: the desire to reach a dream. Beneath her feet, a flock of sheep gathers at the bottom of the image, alluding to the domestic and the repetitive.
Above it all, the word "DREAM" floats in capital letters, establishing a vertical axis that links the unconscious with the aspiration for transcendence.
The background, built from abstract patches of color, is crossed by gestures of black ink that introduce tension and contrast, underscoring the duality between impulse and restraint, change and routine.
